Chrome Separators:

ScrubAir Chrome Separators are designed with many exclusive user-friendly features specifically for the client's convenience. All projects are custom designed for space requirements and utilize a unique gradual step-down 3-Stage Kimre® composite mesh pads configuration designed to:

• Eliminate excessive maintenance normally associated with composite mesh pad systems - ScrubAir Chrome Separators are proven to require the least amount of maintenance of any composite mesh pad system in the industry
• Reduce the amount of water required to rinse down the pads - this ScrubAir unit uses the least amount of water of any technology currently available
• Eliminate cumbersome cartridges which break and require extra space to access - ScrubAir pads slide into a grid which is assembled in the vessels
• Surpass the Federal MACT emission requirements for large sources of .015mg/dscm
• Fabricated from ½" thick Type I PVC
• Clear sliding access doors
• Magnehelic gauges on each stage and one (1) overall meter which can be transmitted to a chart recorder or printer (PLC is also available) - this overall pressure drop must be recorded daily per EPA requirements
• Solenoid valves with timers to automatically control the wash down cycle of the 1st and 2nd stages

ScrubAir has fabricated and installed over 300 Chrome Separators per the EPA MACT Standard. Every unit is guaranteed for .015 mg/dscm and ALL passed with an average result of .005 mg/dscm - approximately 3x under requirements!
