Air Make-Up Systems

Ventilation systems can cause negative air pressure in the building during winter seasons when the windows and doors are shut. This reduces the effectiveness of the ventilation system and can create excessive cold drafts and cooling of the building on very cold days - resulting in an intolerable workplace and potential freezing of pipes. ScrubAir recommends an air make-up unit be installed with the ventilation system. Gas fired air make-up units can be roof mounted or vertical wall mounted with So-Flo® flexible distribution tubes to evenly distribute the air aback into the building.
